The drawing window (as mentioned in section 5.3.1.) is located in the left part of the floor plan view (see image below).
In the drawing window you will find a model of the floor or floors you have opened (see image below). Note that you can use your mouse to rotate and flip the model.
In the drawing window you will not only find a model of the floor or floors you have opened, you will also find:
a floor box (see image below)
a layout box (see image below)
a text box (see image below)
a floor plan box (see image below)
a walker (see image below)
a button called "Show/hide workspace areas" (see image below)
a button called "Show/hide values of graphical searches" (see image below)
