5.3.2.6. Place yourself in the model so that you can walk around within it
Using the floor plan view you can place yourself in the model so that you can walk around in it. Within the floor plan view there is a walker that represents a walking around function (see image below). Note that we have removed the walking around function from Internet Explorer. This after discovering that the walking around function does not work in that specific browser.
To place yourself in the model:
Go to the drawing window (see image below).
Place your cursor on the walker (see image below).
Click the left button on your mouse and hold it down. As long as the left button on your mouse is held down, the walker will be attached and move as you move your mouse.
Drag the walker to a workspace in the model (see images below).
Drop the walker into the workspace. Note that you will be placed in the workspace where you drop the walker (see image below).
Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to walk around the model.
